You guys did it again. You (NPR) just allowed a program to air which said that the Professor Gates arrest was on an EQUAL par to the hosings and beatings and lynchings of blacks in the 50's and '60's. It came at the end of the segment.
That program was just aired. No one was allowed to challenge it. The web site to the compelling and true story is: www.thestory.org
The story was about a black woman's travail and the abuse she did receive.
It was 1964. I believe Janet Babin hosted this segment. She or someone, at the END of the program, (and the program itself was excellent, a true documentary) stated flatly that (Prof.) Gates received the SAME treatment as blacks back then in the '60's. Un..be..liev..able.
I am against what happened to blacks years ago, and I can't believe we HAD slavery in this country or ANY, including the present-day slavery that is STILL going on in black countries (black-on-black slavery).
But I'll be damned if I am going to let you idiots get away with a program that says that what happened to Professor Gates was of the SAME racist and murderous bent and mentality of those past times.
You all need a checkup from the neck up. That is like saying that regardless of any present situation, or any outcome at all...it doesn't matter. You intimate that we whites now are the same as the whites back in slavery days. "We" haven't changed AT ALL.
You insulting boors.
With letting that program state that "crap," NPR has just created a new left. Congratulations.
I'm glad I do listen everyday. I wouldn't have missed this for the world. I need a transcript of this one.
Your moderator, I believe Janet Babin, actually SAID that the Gates arrest was of the SAME racial bent as years ago. Sgt. Crowley needs to hear this...so does the President, so does Fox News (Hannity, O'Reilly, Beck, Limbaugh, et al).
So much for the beer. I guess Obama lied if he feels the same.
You see, America? This is what the left does! They inspire racism and MORE racism! (Just like they inspire socialism and MORE socialism, and treason and MORE treason).
You think the "Gates" situation is a done deal with the President and all, but you gotta stay tuned-in to the left. Don't be gullible and naïve. They will soon actually tell you what they are REALLY thinking.

This is exactly why I don't listen to NPR. The left whines that they get opposition from FOX news for television, Rush, Hannity, Ingrim, Savage, Beck and a few others for radio while the left have MSNBC, CNN, ABC, CBS, NB for television and NPR (publically funded and supposed to be neutral but not)and other stations I know exist but don't listen to them. Basically the left owns television coverage and right owns radio. Somehow the left feels they need to dominate all facets of media without opposition, hence the "Fairness Doctrine". What a joke these hypocrites are! They want us all to be "bobble heads" nodding in unison.
